Abstract
Introduction: Parkinson's disease is a condition that has no cure so far, perhaps in an aqueous environment, the person feels protected from falling off and re-education of patients using a water walk lane for a month, will be of benefit for the person in their daily life, since the usual tasks of life can best be done. Methodology: Eight subjects with Parkinson's disease (stages 1 to 3 on the Hoehn-Yahr scale) were evaluated after 10 sessions conducted on a water lane. Testing, functionality, running, freezing, balance and mobility were performed before and after treatment. Results: It is shown that when subjects undergo aquatic therapy in a walking lane, functional tests, freezing and balancing, improve significantly. Conclusion: The repetition of exercises in a water lane improves some parameters of motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease, which allows them to have a better quality of life.References
